Granata Music

Overview

Ottawa-based music store Granata Music was looking to elevate their social media content, and promote the shop in a distinctive manner. We approached the client with a 10 part social media series that advertises multiple aspects of the store: Guitars for sale, instrument repair, and music lessons.

Challenges & Approach

Harsh interior lighting is always a challenge when working with a business or organization, and this proved to be true at Granata Music. The solution was to lean in a different direction: A darker, moodier visual style. We felt this could be an interesting approach to create depth and cinematic elegance to the videos.

The result

The final videos share a consistent, professional tone, while still feeling friendly and approachable. We achieved our goal in promoting the different services offered by the shop, but doing so in a way that felt more impactful than a simple phone video.
